the obama doctrine: the bush doctrine, but a bit more careful
this is an interesting article from foreignpolicy.com, critically examining obama’s foreign policy, particularly in africa and the middle east. the verdict? it doesn’t seem like he’s done all too differently from bush (at least in ideology). but it is in fact true that he was perhaps a great deal more careful.
