this article sounds pretty convincing in how effective jim yong kim has been in implementing changes that have stumbled those who have come before him. but it is, indeed true, that his background doesn’t scream out “bank president”. but hey, the world bank is there to tackle the very problems he’s been doing on the ground anyways!
